This was a super disappointing stay. I have stayed here twice before and when I first came in the room I thought it looked good and looked like they had done a redecorate since I had been there last, but it was all surface. The toilet roll holder was broken so the toilet roll was on the floor. The shower handle fell off on to my foot and when I reported it to the front desk and asked to do an incident report the person just said he would. make a note. In a 4 day stay they did one "room refresh" only after I asked and it was only clean towels. It did not even include emptying the trash. I came back to the hotel on the second night and there were 4 fire trucks surrounding the hotel and we weren't allowed in for some time. I never received an explanation as to what the problem was. Honestly will all else that was wrong I suspect it was a malfunction of the alarm because there was no smoke.

????? Outstanding Stay – We’ll Definitely Be Back! My name is S. Lopez, and I stayed in Suite 319 at the Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City Cottonwood beginning Friday, July 17. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we had picked the right place. The first person who greeted us was a wonderful woman at the front desk with short blonde hair. I apologize for not remembering her name, but I remember she was originally from Valencia, California. We instantly connected, talking about Six Flags and California, and she made us feel like we were back home. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. She even allowed us to check in early at 1:00 p.m., which made our trip so much easier after a long drive. That level of customer service is something you don’t see every day. We also want to give a huge shout-out to Phil (Phillip), who was still in training. Honestly, if no one had told us he was training, we never would have guessed. He carried himself with professionalism, confidence, and kindness, and treated every guest with respect. He seemed like someone who had been there for years—or even the manager! He’s an incredible asset to the hotel, and we have no doubt he’s going to do amazing. Our room was absolutely beautiful. It was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and had gorgeous views. You could tell the staff takes pride in keeping everything clean and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We also loved the pool and surrounding area. Everything was clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. Every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in a long time. The outstanding customer service, beautiful accommodations, and welcoming atmosphere made our trip unforgettable. We would recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City Cottonwood to anyone without hesitation, and we can’t wait to stay here again on our next trip to Utah. Thank you to the entire staff for making us feel so welcome—you truly made our vacation even more special!

This place was so nice , my family especially loved the pool and hot tub. We had a kitchenette room and it was perfect for our family of 4. Would 100% stay here again.

I have 2280 nights in a Marriot hotel (I know I have no life). That said, I know a good location when I see one. This property is in a quiet, beautiful area at the foot of the mountains. There isnt a lot to do walking distance but the rooms are very clean, the property is quiet and the suites mean a full fridge, stove, oven, microwave, etc. Its literally a home away from home. I have ONE complaint, the Wifi speed here is HORRIBLE. Were in the year 2026, this should not be an issue and business travelers that need to video conference depend on something more than old school AOL speed dial up. Fix that, and you have a 5 star space to go.

Rachelle at check in was incredible. Best I've experienced in over a decade of using Marriott. She was textbook why I only stay at Marriott!! Room was immaculate clean, breakfast was good and well coordinated, the grounds were clean and groomed. A great experience, I will definitely be back!

3/4 staff members I interacted with were helpful. One was rude to my partner when he inquired about getting a new key as he had forgotten it.m- I was given a general number with an automated system rather than direct to call and okay this. Other than that though, it was clean, with pretty views and nearby trails, a nice outdoor pool and basketball/pickleball court.

We stayed here for two nights with our kids for Memorial Day Weekend. The beginning of our stay was a bit rocky, but Yulisa really turned things around for us and made it a very memorable stay. She has incredible customer service skills and the hotel is lucky to have her. The room was nice and spacious and we loved the courtyard area with the pool, hot tub, and bball hoop. We definitely recommend this hotel.

I would stay in this hotel again but there were significant issues that should be addressed. We stayed in the hotel 7 nights during ski season. On a very positive note, the front desk morning employee, and I believe she was the shift Manager, Dianne was excellent!!! Dianne corrected erroneous info I'd received from the front desk employee when we checked in. Dianne saved me from standing in line for hours because she knew the correct info regarding the weekend ski shuttles. Note: many people stay in that particular location because of the closeness to the ski areas. One bad problem is breakfast is not served early enough on the weekends for skiers and most of the customers are skiers during ski season. We paid for breakfast as part of the hotel rate yet couldn't enjoy it because breakfast didn't start early enough. Additionally , on Wednesday it was set up late partially by 10 minutes and set up fully 20 minutes late. No decaf tea for the duration of our week stay though requested the first morning. The housekeepers took it upon themselves to throw away items that were not in the trash. can or even remotely near a trash can. The carpet needs cleaning badly and not just vacuumed.

Stayed overnight for a quick ski trip and had a great stay! Room was convenient to get to from the parking lot, the hot tub was lovely and close to our room, breakfast was ready right on time. Additionally, Zonia was a lovely lady who was taking care of breakfast and was the highlight of this stay. 5/5 stay!

Stayed for 3 nights. Front Desk: Yuisla is extremely welcoming. Her level customer service is very rare in US hospitality. We noticed how consistent she is with all customers. Room: Clean although aged. Breakfast: Basic selection. Fitness: Disappointed as there is no bike.
