We appreciated Hellgate Condominiums for its convenient location and easy access to the ski area. While it did require taking the shuttle to reach the lifts, the shuttle ran frequently, and the on-demand pickup and drop-off service after 5 PM made getting around Snowbird and Alta very convenient. Once there, a car really was not necessary. The people were also very friendly, and the host was responsive and readily available through Airbnb.That said, the condo itself felt quite dated and could benefit from remodeling and general upgrades. A screen door was broken, one of the plug-in fans was not working, and the beds were old spring mattresses that sagged in the middle and were uncomfortable to sleep on.Overall, the transportation convenience, friendly atmosphere, and responsive host were strong positives, but the condition of the unit and sleeping comfort left room for improvement.

Easy check-in and check-out process. Convenient Alta shuttle to and from Alta & Snowbird. The condo actually seemed nicer in person than in the pictures. Lots of space in there to hang out when you’re not skiing. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Spacious and cozy with lovely views

My three friends and I stayed here during an early-season ski vacation. We skied at Snowbird and also made our way to Big Cottonwood Canyon. The location was perfect for Snowbird. A shuttle comes and picks you up right outside the door. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the apartment was perfect for four adults.

Wonderful visit as always to Alta. We liked our accommodations very much. Renters were very good at responding to our questions. Free Shuttle to ski hills a bonus.

This is our third year staying here and we love it. The location is perfect for skiing and it is easy to get to from the airport. I would highly recommend this spot!
